August 22. - 21. 2025

Liddes, Vallais, Switzerland

What to expect

Run and hike on the trail of UTMB, the biggest trailrunning event of the world
All bodies & genders welcome
Designed with solo adventure travelers in mind

Join us for an unforgettable hiking & trail running week in the Valais Alps

Imagine: you can explore trails every day, make new outdoor friends and learn more about hiking & trail running in workshops.

Why you shouldn’t miss the camp

  • Hike or run between 4,000-metre (13.000 ft) peaks and glaciers without the crowds. After the camp, you can also hike one of the many long-distance hiking trails in Valais, such as the Haute Route, Tour du Mont Blanc, Tour St. Bernard, Tour du Grant Combine or Via Vallais. We will help you with the organization.
  • Be there live at the biggest trailrunning event of the world, cheer on the participants or take part yourself
  • Workshops where you can learn even more about mountain hiking & trail running
  • Excursions to Chamonix
  • Community hikes & runs for every level and training goal. From easy hikes with a few meters of elevation gain to alpine tours with plenty of elevation gain, every participant will find the right trails. Perfect for preparing for longer hikes such as a crossing of the Alps, ultra hikes such as a mega march or a trail running event.
  • Relaxed atmosphere and enough time for individual runs/hikes or me-time
  • Vegetarian/vegan full board that is geared towards hikers & trail runners

Depending on the daily program, we will eat in the accommodation or take a picknick with us. And of course there will also be one or two Swiss specialties such as fondue or raclette.

There are two small supermarkets in the neighboring village of Liddes (approx. 5-10 minutes by car or bus) and larger supermarkets and outdoor stores for snacks in Orsiere and Martigny. Depending on the transfer, we can plan a stop on your arrival.

We are staying in a former hotel in the village of Liddes. The accommodation is a coliving for the rest of the year, where digital nomads work and live together remotely. You can find out more about the coliving in Bourg Saint Pierre and the neighboring village here. During the camp, we have the entire accommodation to ourselves.

How to get there

Liddes is located at 1.250 meters. It is about 10 minutes from the bus stop to the accommodation.

Arrival from Germany / Austria / France
You can easily get to Martigny by long-distance train from any country. Trains in Switzerland are punctual to the second, so short changeover times of just 5 minutes are quite realistic. From Martigny you can change trains in Sembranche to Orsieres and from there take the bus (several times a day) to Liddes.
Book via https://www.sbb.ch/fr or Interrail.

Arrival from Italy
Liddes can also be reached by bus from Aosta. Turin and Milan are easily accessible by train from Aosta.
